Applied for SRE-Clinical Research position and interviewed over phone with Hiring Manager and other Sr. Manager as well on the call. It is very frustrating or discouraging to do a peer code or Hacker rank assignment, while those 2 folks look over your shoulder. For SRE/Devops, we dont come from coding background, but we can write terraform/K8s or other configurations - but not high level programming. Expecting that write in interview was new to me. If it was given as take home assignement, it would have been better.
