Got referred by an employee working at the company but he did not know the hiring manager in person. I was phone interviewed first by a human resource representative. After a few emails with the hiring manager, we decided to meet informally at a local restaurant. Shortly into our conversation, the hiring manager offered me an opportunity to formally interview with a panel representing the whole group. It took a half day. A few days later, two personal references were checked and then I got the offer.

First there was an interview with the recruiter followed by an interview with the hiring manager. Then there was a series of round table interviews with so many people (30 I think) and a presentation as well. Everyone was nice, and questions were very relevant to the job, but it was very overwhelming, spread over a couple of weeks and then there was a seemingly very long period where they were getting signatures and putting together an offer letter, even thought I’d gotten the verbal offer fairly quickly.
