They asked direct questions that gauge how interested you are in what they do, and test your general knowledge of M&A. Every single person I talked to during the interview process (Senior Analyst and CEO, both on the phone) were extremely kind and very thoughtful in explaining what they do and why they love their jobs. Overall, great experience and very intelligent team over there. If you're looking for a future in M&A, this is an excellent way to get your foot in the door. If it wasn't for personal reasons preventing me from moving to SoCal, I would have absolutely loved to join this firm.
