The interview consisted of telephonic rounds and then on-site interview. The people were great including the manager and other people in the team. The interview went well. Events happened after the interview is the reason for giving negative feedback. After the interview, I waited for two weeks before reaching out to understand the status of the application. I came from a different state to interview and interview expenses were not paid by GSU, hence I had to take care of travel and accommodation at my expense. Hence after two weeks, I reached out to HR person who contacted me initially, she mentioned she has no information about the status and mentioned she will follow up once the hiring manager responds. I emailed the Hiring Manager directly as well but got no response from him either. After a month I reached out to HR again via call, again she mentioned same thing that she had no information on the status. They never responded it feels bad because being a full-time employee I had to work from home after I came from the interview that was in a different state. Hence totaling 17.5 hours of work that day.
