I applied online and was contacted by the hiring manager for my availability to conduct an online screening interview. It was strange from the beginning. After submitting my availability was told the Hiring Manager was out for 3 weeks and unable to meet till then. Then I was told the Hiring Manager was able to make some adjustments and meet next week, much earlier then initially stated. Finally found out the person I was scheduling with WAS the hiring manager.... Screening interview was pleasant. Was explained about Giant Machines and the Innovation team which I was applying for. Wasn't told about the recent acquisition of the Innovation team and how it just recently fit into the org. Kinda disappointed to learn that the Innovation team was currently an all female team (I want diversity) and that innovation wasn't a part of the Giant Machines foundational impact.
