I was contacted in April by a recruiter, then a phone interview with the hiring manager shortly thereafter. There was no follow up and I assumed I was out of the running until several months later I was asked if I'd like to come in for an interview. The interview was a half day of one-on-one or group interviews with various prospective colleagues and higher-ups. The questions were mostly technical with no behavioral ones asked. I've heard Gilead runs "lean" and I got that impression. Some interviewers seemed impatient, brusque with one senior manager looking at the clock repeatedly. However, what compelled me to write was the total radio silence from the recruiter, the hiring manager or whoever after this interview. Very unprofessional and not an organization I would want to be a part of.
