Entrevista
First off I’d like to say the job description was very vague on Handshake. I had to locate a similar position on linked in just to understand what the position was for.
I was unaware that the interview was a group style that consisted of 44 people. Not a big fan of group interviews because it never gives you enough time to ask any questions. This is also a big waste of time as the interviewer spent 21 minutes going over the job description. Once again this was not in detail on the job posting. This left 44 people 9 minutes to ask questions. Normally I’d not have a issue with this 30 minute meeting. However, the interviewer stated the only way you could move forward with the next steps is if you were engaged with the meeting. Once again, you gave us 9 mins to ask questions or to be engaged. For 44 people, there was no way that’s possible. What most people were concerned about is paying out of pocket for the licensing requirements to do this job.
The job itself sounded a little to good to be true. You could possibly make up to 50$ a hour if you are giving a presentation. However this is a sales job and you are dependent on customer showing up for their meeting. If not, you would only make 25$ an hour. No real benefits offered. You only work 5hr shift minimum of 20 hours a week. Of course if you wanted to work more they would allow it. There is no PTO for this position. You are only given four times to call out during each quarter. You do make your own schedule each week so you can plan around any appointments you might have. Health insurance is not offered the traditional way. You have to find a plan you want and they will give you 85% - 100% on the 10th of each month to pay for it.
Over all, I was really worried about interviewing for this position as the company has more 1 star reviews than 5. Most of them being about the treatment of employees from management down. I over prepared for this interview as no one stated it would be a group meeting. No real direction from the interviewer as to if you would here back. Made it sound like they throw your name in a hat at the end of the meeting and dragged out a few at random. No benefits nor long term growth. They don’t want someone who has experience as this was said at the very beginning. Due to them brining bad habits and not being excited to come to work. They are looking for students and working parents that have no training.

Joined a video call with about 50 other individuals and learned about the company and opportunity. Then, directed to a individual break out session with an interviewer. Additional information was provided about the role, day to day responsibilities and organization/department structure. It was also emphasized that this was a captive benefits opportunity.

Very professional. They clear understanding of what the job entails and gave us chances to ask questions. They also assesed us after the interview. It was a nice , smooth process. You get to pay for your insurance license.

Entrevista
In a zoom call with a large group of candidates and then you will be selected. No need to preparer in any way shape or form. There isn’t much to it, just sit there and listen for an hour.
