Details: I interviewed for the Software Engineer position specializing in Machine Learning & Computer Vision at Gluxkind. The panel included two junior engineers and the CEO along with his wife. The interview covered an extensive range of subjects such as Robotics, AI, Hardware, and Firmware. However, the experience was marred by a lack of professionalism. The junior engineers seemed inexperienced, which led to confusion over correct answers to technical questions. Additionally, one of the engineers corrected a mistake in their questioning discreetly, which was handled in a manner that seemed to undermine the clarity of the interview process. Following the interview, there was a lack of communication from the company, despite my attempts to follow up. This lack of response was disappointing and reflected poorly on the company's professionalism. Advice to Management: Improving the structure of the interview process and ensuring that all interviewers are well-prepared and knowledgeable would greatly enhance the candidate experience. Additionally, timely and clear communication post-interview should be a standard practice to maintain professionalism.
