    Entrevista

    I received an initial invite to have phone interview that stated it would last 20-30 mins long. I received my call at the exact time that was scheduled. She then asked me what do I think about Godaddy. I stated that I had previously worked there 5 years ago. After that her whole tone of voice attitude & demeanor changed. She said "our system should have caught that as soon as you applied." She then asked me several specific questions regarding my previous time working with them. At this point it felt more like an interrogation. After that she seemed completely disinterested in speaking with me. Abruptly got off the phone and hung up. Didn't say good bye or thank you for your time, nothing. It was one of the most unprofessional experiences I have had in any interview process.

    What Interview? Company has their HR Screening software determine if they want to talk to you or not. I applied at 7:00 AM and by 7:05 AM got the form letter saying no thanks. Unbelievable.

    Very easy, no experience required. Very high turn over so looking for constant replacement. The recruiter had reached out to me. Interviewed a week later after a phone screen. I was offered the job the same day.

    It was good. Got on the phone and actually practiced a call that will be used to make sales and further your career. This place seemed really laid back and down to earth, which is what I was looking for

    I received a phone call from a recruiter and talked to me about the role and said he wanted to pass my resume on to the head honcho; liked my resume, set up a phone screen. I talked to him for 30-40 minutes and encouraged me to fill out the online application. I filled out the online application, got an email regarding my interview. Had two 30 minute interviews asking standard interview questions and had an hour to complete an assessment of responding to a five-star, three-star, and one-star review, create social media content and edit a small paragraph. I felt a bit confident afterward since this is the type of stuff I learned while studying Journalism and Public Relations. I sent a thank you and didn't hear back from them until I emailed and asked and the same recruiter sent me an email saying I didn't get it.

    - Initial contact was the recruiter
    - Next was a skype call with the hiring manager
    - Last was the 5-hour in-person interview.

    Feedback: A 5-hour in person interview does not serve the candidate a positive representation of the company, nor does it show that their time is respected or seen as valuable ( and no, going to lunch is not proper recognition/compensation for their time). I was not provided an accurate outline of the interview process (I was surprised by a design exercise which was not addressed) prior to my arrival. Next, if you are interviewing a candidate, please be sure to pay attention as they respond to your questions, seeing you visibly uninterested/participating in other activities is in poor taste. Lastly, provide feedback to candidates who you dont select. By not doing so, it is disrespectful and shows you again dont respect their efforts in preparing/engaging in your interview process.

    I would not recommend applying to this company to anyone in my line of work.

    Personable, efficient, and transparent about the opportunity. They're not trying to hide anything because they're culture is so fantastic. When I was in the final decision-making process regarding an offer, I actually asked the recruiter to connect me with the director of the department because I didn't have a chance to connect with her during the interviewing process. I was in a major time crunch because of another offer on the table, and the recruiter made it happen within a couple of hours! Totally impressed me with how above and beyond they went with helping me decide on the career opportunity - very transparent.

    I initially had some phone screenings.

    I was then placed on an initial coding interview, which seemed to go well. Questions about my experience and about my past, how it related to the role. The interviewer let me speak.

    The first call was great, I was having a good day. The coding session was smooth.

    My second round was scheduled for a Monday. I had prepared and was ready. It was canceled almost 30 minutes before. It was re-scheduled and the interviewer did not appear on the call.

    Instead someone else joined the call to watch, in addition was another interviewer not the one scheduled.

    The interviewer was not prepared, and admitted he had not had a chance to review my resume.

    I offered to share my screen when coding to give the extra person an opportunity to see what was going on.

    The 2nd round of 'pair programming' which was about 30 minutes of coding or less.

    To be honest the hackerrank seemed rushed. But I was never as comfortable with the interviewer as I was with the first round.

    After the interviewer said he had not had time to prepare, he asked me several questions which made me feel uncomfortable. Tell me about a bad experience at work, how did you resolve it? Tell me about a time.. where this or that. How did you convince someone your solution was correct, etc.

    As part of the second interview, after re-scheduling, then getting a random interviewer who was not prepared. Asked several awkward questions, never let me really share about my past or experience.

    I was then brought into the hackerrank. The hackerrank went okay, I felt rushed and still uncomfortable from the vibe of negative questions.

    Overall, after being re-scheduled then thrown in with someone 'working from home' to cover for someone else, and unprepared. I suppose I felt like I was having a bad day now.

    My answers and process throughout the 2nd test were not exactly my 'A' game. After only discussing 'conflicts' which was basically the only questions given that I could respond about. I made an attempt to finish the coding session within 30 minutes. I made several mistakes, was a bit distracted and was probably having an off-day by now. Unclear if this was occurring before the awkward questioning, or just by happenstance and frustration.
