Had first round as telephonic and they were fine with my profile as it was perfectly suiting what they were looking for. Second round was coderpad test and it was completely different from the profile they had posted. Somehow managed to complete the test with passing test results, however interviewer was not impressed with the approach followed as he was having different approach in his mind. Did not hear from them after the test, sent couple of follow up mails to the HR but no response. I believe candidate deserves basic courtesy/respect to know his/her interview status, especially when they requested for update. Unfortunate that they didn't even follow the basis etiquette of keeping the candidate up to date regarding the interview status. Goldman can be Goldman only if they respect the entire community: candidates, employees, customers, shareholders....

I interviewed for a VP Software Engineering role at Goldman Sachs few months back and the experience was disappointing. The recruiter’s communication during scheduling and follow-ups felt rude and unprofessional, which was surprising for a firm of this reputation. The technical rounds focused heavily on data-structures and graph coding problems despite the senior leadership nature of the role. While I explained my approach, I couldn’t fully complete the implementation within the time limit. Most concerning was the lack of any feedback or follow-up after the interviews. I didn't even know what happened. Overall, this was one of the least professional interview experiences I have encountered.
