After a week passed with no update, I sent a polite follow-up email. Unfortunately, I never received a response or any further communication. It was a disappointing experience, especially after investing time and effort into preparing for the interview. In 2025, there’s really no excuse for ghosting candidates who have already interviewed. It reflects poorly on the company’s professionalism and communication culture. In hindsight, I feel I probably dodged a bullet by not progressing further.

Overall, the interview process went well. The recruiter was friendly and knowledgeable. They explained the company, job, and interview process, and answered the questions I had prepared. I had a first round with the hiring manager, but was not selected. The process took less than 10 days from applying to first round with the manager.
