I was really frustrated by this question because I had just articulated my law firm experience and complete participation in the litigation cycle from client intake, to drafting and filing legal documents, preparing and exchanging discovery, compiling hearing preparation binders, to closure. It was clear the person who interviewed me was not listening to the entirety of our conversation or looked at my resume before speaking to me. It also seemed like she did not understand the role she was interviewing me for or any aspects of the legal field and was just going through a list of questions on a computer screen.
