Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Henry Ford Health (Detroit, MI).
Entrevista
Initial phone interview asked for a brief description of what courses I was taking and what projects I'd been working on.
In person interview was about 2 weeks later. The interview is an entire day and they shuffle you in and out of 30 minute interviews with 2-3 people each. So by the end of the day you've met at least 14 different people. Each interview generally started with employees describing their position and what they do. Some went into painful detail describing the structure of the department. Eventually they'd ask for a basic description of a project I'd worked on, data cleaning, stats methods. Very high level and non-technical. It was very conversational and relaxed.

First was a phone screen with two of the biostatistician, received onsite interview few days after. During the onsite, I talked with 12 people, each around 30 minutes, they talked about what their doing and ask what you've done about your projects, some asked about the results and why. Very conversational, not too technical, they asked about details of your project and how you project may relate to the project they've done in HFHS. Also some asked about how to deal with communications with clinicians. Prepare more questions to ask to fill up the time. Had a 2 hour lunch break with two of the junior biostatistician, very helpful, can ask about questions outside of work, which were also interviewers. It was a great experience, everyone in the team are nice!
Two round of phone talk followed by a one day on site. One that day, I talked with about 10 people. It's pretty intense, but they are very friendly. In general, it's a good experience.
