I was invited for a 1-hour interview, with the in-line manager and another service manager. I was asked to introduce my profile, then there were standard behavioral questions, questions about what I thought was important for the role/company/customers and questions about my experience in project management. The interview was quite casual and we had a pleasant chat, although a couple of my answers met negative reactions (such as "I never had the discipline to apply this method") which made me wonder whether the team was really ready to be open to the changes that the new role was asked to implement - I did ask the question and was told that they would have to as the changes were necessary. I did not feel much enthusiasm about the opportunity.
When they came back to me about the interview, I was told that no candidate was put through so far. I do agree with them that my profile was probably not the right one for the role, as they probably need somebody more senior than the job ad implied.
