How do you handle a Upset customer?

I first hear the customer out and ask questions to get any detail. I would first apologize for the issue at hand. Then i would recap with the customer the issues and what need to resolve the issue. Let the customer know what you are going to do and give them a follow up date and time. After the issue is resolved, schedule a follow up time for your to make sure there taking care of.
