I use a combination of methods to prioritize tasks. First, I consider the dependencies between tasks. Some tasks can’t start until others are completed. Second, I look at the impact of each task on the final project outcome. Tasks that have a high impact on the final deliverable are given higher priority. Finally, I take into account the resources available, including team members’ skills and availability.
