Candidatei-me online. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Human Capital.
Entrevista
Nav Talent is now Human Capital.
I interviewed for their Delta Fellowship, a new fellowship for students who defer their fall semesters to work on a startup. Apparently a lot of students applied - 1000+. I made it to the second and final round of interviews.
Both of my interviewers must have been totally exhausted from interviewing because they were so fake, stiff, and robotic. They kept talking about how important it is at Human Capital to be committed to people, to founders' entire careers, etc. and that no matter what happened with the decision, they'd like to stay involved in our careers.
We were supposed to receive the final decision on August 24. We never received an email. I can understand not sending someone a rejection email at the resume/application stage - it's still rude but at least the candidate hasn't invested time into the process. But to go a full week without even sending a note either telling you the decision is delayed or rejecting you?
Highly professional. Honestly, the tech world is small, especially here in the Bay. If Human Capital wanted to get the word out to student engineers and founders that it's a great partner, they really failed this one.

Entrevista
Not much of an interview--assigned me some content to write, wrote the content within the guidelines and got paid. The payment was via a traditional bank check. The payment was timely and I received a 1099 at the end of the year.

What content area do you feel most prepared to write about?
O processo levou 2 semanas. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Human Capital (San Francisco, CA).
Entrevista
There was a phone interview and on-site. I had the displeasure of meeting the founders.
I was belittled, and they asked intrusive questions. Unfortunately, my family was low income, so in college I did not have the opportunity to join many extra curricular activities: I was made to feel bad about this, despite graduating from a top school.
If you are a under represented minority, I would not recommend interviewing here.
Interviewing at Nav Talent is by far the worst experience I have had.
