I received an email that I was shortlisted for the position and asked me to choose a time slot for a call. I did and received another confirmation mail. And the selected date-time HR called me.

Recruiter call, walk me through your resume. Why illumina? Tell me about yourself. How do you feel your experience would be a fit? What industry contacts do you have? Pretty standard, very casual but very nice. I didn’t have enough experience.

After shortlisting, they invited me to pick a time slot for a phone call. It was an interview on the phone. They called me on time, no waiting. Human resources worker was quite nice.
