Avoid like the plague. The people who run the IT/Cybersecurity department need to figure out what they're doing or looking for. They told me I had "hands-on, not hands-in." What does that even mean? Additionally, the person who interviewed me doesn't even work in cybersecurity. He told me that they recently hired a director for that department, but he would not be on until the following week—red flag. Additionally, when I asked about the cybersecurity strategy for the organization, he just said "monitoring." Every question I asked about the intricacies of the position was answered with this vague word. This organization only cares about what tools they have rather than how to implement an effective cybersecurity program. No wonder they got breached in March. Stay away!
