Very consistent with other feedback here - company’s hiring process is very long and plays with your nerves.
If you start the journey be prepared to test for the UCAT exam before any of the interviews as they say they can’t confirm if you can proceed without passing. I was informed about two interviews in…
Also, didn’t have an initial call with talent to confirm salary before going into first interview with hiring manager.
Got a random fairly time consuming assignment after completing all rounds and the test after I was told I would hear back with a decision. Decision got pushed back twice and finally received a call saying that they went with someone else with more experience in the industry.
Advice to the company: Please be cognizant of candidate’s time and eliminate unnecessary steps to evaluate candidates, like tests that aren’t relevant to their job. Also be transparent with the steps involved, if you need to pass a test to proceed or if there will 100 percent be an assignment. Finally, if you are looking for a candidate with industry experience - don’t waste others time. Probably 8+ hrs in total time spent for this application (hr, interviews, compiling samples, test -twice, assignment).
Very unfortunate bc the team was great.
