Application Submission:
Initially, candidates submit their resumes through the Infosys Careers portal or through a campus placement.
You may also be contacted by a recruiter via job boards or LinkedIn.
Aptitude Test / Online Screening:
After the resume shortlisting, candidates are usually required to take an online aptitude test.
The test includes sections like:
Quantitative Aptitude
Logical Reasoning
Verbal Ability
The online test can be hosted on platforms like Cognizant, TCS iON, or similar assessment tools.
Duration: Typically 90 minutes to 2 hours.
Technical Interview (Round 1):
If you clear the aptitude test, you may be invited for a technical interview.
The interview is conducted either online or in person, depending on the location and current pandemic situation.
Technical questions focus on:
Programming languages (like C, Java, Python, SQL).
Problem-solving questions, data structures, and algorithms.
Systems design and basic theoretical knowledge.
You may be asked to write code to solve a problem or explain concepts clearly.
The interviewer assesses your technical expertise, logical reasoning, and ability to think on your feet.
HR Interview (Round 2):
After successfully clearing the technical interview, the next stage is the HR interview.
In this round, the HR interviewer will focus on assessing your cultural fit, communication skills, and your overall personality.
You can expect questions like:
“Tell me about yourself.”
“Why do you want to work for Infosys?”
“What are your strengths and weaknesses?”
“How do you handle challenges?”
Be prepared to discuss your past experiences, particularly any projects or work you’ve done that are relevant to the role you're applying for.
HR Discussion / Offer Discussion:
In some cases, the HR round may involve a more detailed discussion about compensation, work location, role expectations, and other HR policies.
This is also the stage where Infosys would discuss your salary package and benefits.
Final Offer:
After clearing the interviews, you will receive a final offer letter from Infosys.
The offer letter will outline your designation, salary, joining date, and other terms and conditions.
The onboarding process typically starts soon after, with Infosys providing you with all the necessary details for your joining formalities.
