The interview primarily revolved around an offline assignment.
During the second round, I was asked to design a rate limiter using Golang. The panel later gave feedback that I jumped into the implementation without asking clarifying questions. However, I recall explicitly confirming the use of the leaky bucket algorithm, which the panel approved—so the feedback felt a bit inconsistent.
Interestingly, I was also asked to interview candidates for a different role, which was unexpected.
HR followed up about the situation a week later, which I took as a positive sign. Ultimately, I decided to withdraw from the process after accepting another offer.
