First a job agent contacted me for this position in JLR UK. Total 3 rounds. What was amazing was that they were ready to offer sponsorship for the role. Initial screening call was with the external job agent. After that she forwarded my resume to the JLR HR who arranged an initial interview with the hiring manager. The interview is very simple about my background, experience and understanding of the testing concepts. I was selected for the next round before that I had to prepare a PPT explaining my work in a project. For the next round question about the PPT and also behaviour round which went about 90 minutes. I felt I did really well. The hiring manager and the another person who did the interview have good knowledge about the testing domain and they explained clearly about the project they are handling. The next day the job agent call me and said sorry I was not selected. I was very disappointed. It was my dream job. The only reason I could see for not being selected after such good interview is that I require sponsorship. they might have found another candidate who does not require one.
