Very long and encompassing. A project was sent after interview and the due date was within 3 days. After submitting project, I didn't hear anything for 2 weeks and then got the typical "moved in a different direction" email. I worked really hard on the project so I replied that I understood but just wanted to know what aspect of my application led them in a different direction and received no response. If you are going to have your candidates wait weeks to hear a response and complete a project, the least you could do is explain why you went in a different direction.

Easy and genuine. Not difficult. Normal questions. The main focus is on your book and your technical skills. Salary is an important deciding factor here. The interview was pleasant. The hiring manager was professional and easy going. There is no HR interview though. No HR office in NYC at all
