After dragging me on for six weeks and four rounds of interviews, the company decided to go with an internal referral. This was after I was told that the company urgently needed to fill the position. There appeared to be no organized process in place, and it seemed like the HR and hiring managers had no clue what they were doing. Sadly, I am actually relieved that I did not get the job, but I feel sorry for the recruiter who put in all that work for nothing.
