Wa contacted for a phone interview, and then a in person interview. Experience was very nice and I throughly enjoyed the process. The in person interview was long and covered a variety of topics from my academic experiences to my current and past work experiences.

I applied for the position on Jobvite and was contacted within two days by the New York office's HR person. She was very professional in her email correspondence and scheduled a telephone screening for a few days later. As other have noted, the telephone screening largely consists of questions about your college career and the skills you've developed thus far.
After the phone screening I was asked to take a "test," which was to write a press release. Keep in mind that no materials are given to you to create the press release, only a one-sentence prompt for you to start from. You conceptualize the concept and content all on your own--so think of something interesting beforehand! Writing comes pretty natural to me so the assignment wasn't hard, but you only get one hour to finish it and the time goes by incredibly fast. Run spellcheck at the end!
A few days later I was asked to come in for an onsite interview with one of the VPs. He was very cordial and I thought it went well. I learned a lot about the convergence of media relations, digital marketing and original content creation in the industry and he gave me plenty of real life examples of great campaigns the company has successfully ran. There were no questions that were "out of the box," so to speak, but you should probably come prepared to talk about the skills you've attained and how you can use them to LaunchSquad's benefit.
I was emailed about a week and a half later and told they were moving forward with other candidates because the AA position is extremely competitive. I understood, I didn't have much out-of-college experience in media relations or digital media, so I was happy to make it as far as I did. This interview was valuable to me because I am now happily employed with a start-up and I feel like the LaunchSquad interview was great prep for it. But I must admit, I am so intrigued by this company that I may apply for a different position down the road after I have more experience!
