I applied online. The application process took approximately 5 weeks until I got a call. Two weeks after a phone interview, I was invited to an in-person interview at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (Livermore, CA) in August 2018, which took an entire day from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Generic interview, what do you know about us, tell us about yourself etc. Applied online and followed up with a phone call and in person interview with panel. Friendly people and enjoyed my time

Phone interview was focused on my experience and technical background in relation to the job responsibilities. There I got connected with the interviewer; we talked about advanced modeling for more than an hour over the phone although it was supposedly a 30-minute long call.
On-site Interview is basically focused on my past experience. I gave an hour long presentation. Subsequent to the presentation, I met with several interview panels in a row. Each panel asked specific questions related to the presentation. Most of them are more interested in what I have to say about how to solve different types of engineering problems of mutual interest. I had a lot of fun to talk with them. They are all professional and personable.

Entrevista
Good, was a general conversation to be followed up by phone screening, then a panel discussion, followed by onsite fifteen to twenty minutes presentation and tour. Technical discussions and personality type questioned, confirmed via references.
