A LiveRamp recruiter reached out to me about this position and I got excited about it. The interview with the recruiter went well and I was scheduled to have a phone interview with the hiring manager. Day of the interview and at the time of the interview, the hiring manager called to say they were sick and was hoping to reschedule instead of proceed with the interview. Not a big deal, it happens so I reached out to the recruiter to reschedule. While I was waiting to hear back, I prepped even more and dedicated a couple hours of my weekend reading more LR news and educating myself even further on their products. I then find out they already hired someone. I feel like the hiring manager was lying about being sick because they waited until 2:00 on a Friday to tell me to reschedule and I wish they just told me what was going on instead so I could have moved on instead of prepping even more. It's also weird how a recruiter reached out to me about the position when they were clearly at the final stages of the interview process. I feel like I didn't even have a chance and it was a waste of time. Just a reminder to treat others how you would want to be treated during the job search process. This is my second poor experience interviewing with LiveRamp and it's starting to taint my view of them as a company.
