Everyone for the most part was friendly and pleasant to interview with. However, process felt long and cumbersome. By the end of it, I’d spoken to 6 different people and also completed a pretty arduous take home project that involved data wrangling and putting together a deck (unpaid).
I’m a part-time student already strapped with projects and assignments to juggle outside of current employment and personal commitments. Was extremely tough taking the time to submit this project, but hey I really wanted the job. Project did not end up meeting the bar, and final interview with hiring manager was cancelled day of, after I’d already taken time off so we could meet uninterrupted.
Good people here, good company. Only negative thing to say really is they could have noted that I wasn’t a good fit from the get go, as I was always upfront with my experience, rather than putting through the ringer. A lot of firms do this just to have plentiful options and it kind of sucks. Cut people loose earlier in the game.
But if you’re considering interviewing here, honestly I would have taken the job if they’d offer it! Good luck.
