Had a brief phone interview. The phone interview was very basic and and I think they just wanted to make sure I spoke English. After an in person interview, they didn't make me an offer and said "they weren't hiring for that position anymore and needed a more senior associate." Good people and was impressed with the team and with everyone I interviewed.

I wrote a letter, did a 20 min phone call and then an in person interview. The phone interview was worthless and didn't accomplish anything but was impressed with the team in person.
