I applied directly with organization on their website. The process took 3 weeks – interviewed at Mazak Optonics Corp in July 2015. 06/09/15 H.R. Screening interview After applying for a job on Mazak Optonics Corp web site, I was contacted by HR for a phone screen. The phone screen was only supposed to last half an hour, but it went well enough that we spoke for nearly an hour. At the end of the interview, the HR rep indicated he would be recommending me for an in person interview, which was confirmed the next day. 06/11/15 Technical phone interview – 3 individual’s – 30 min All three people I spoke with, on the phone interview and in person, were very straightforward. There were no trick questions - they wanted to see if my qualifications matched their needs and to see if was comfortable with the job. 07/02/15 Face to face interview VERY PROFESSIONAL and relaxed start to finish. Very relaxing, casual yet professional. Arrived the night before, started interview at 09:00. With everyone that I interviewed with, it was more of a dialog of making sure both parties were a good fit for each other. Interviewed with 5 different people, and with the G.M. of customer Service twice. VERY open, encouraged questions, very comfortable. And everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, was very open as to what the position entails, both positive and negatives. Got a tour of the building, had a relaxing lunch and talk about the organization. Received verbal offer on the spot (pending H.R. approval) at 14:30 from the General Manger of Customer Service. 07/06/15 Formalized offer letter, access to website to start benefits enrollment. Airfare, car and hotel for the interview, prepaid!!! Had me fly in the day before so I could be relaxed and fresh. My out of pocket expenses for fuel and food, taken care of quickly. Another positive for Mazak Optonics Corp, I was going to interview with an organization financially twice as big, (A Medical Imaging manufacturing company) and I was expected to pay for everything and then get my money back!!! But what really "Irked" me, is the fact that I was flying to the East coast from the West coast and they WOULD NOT reimburse for a hotel so I could in the night before for a 09:00 interview!! So kudos to Mazak Optonics Corp!! They took care of everything. Pre-paid, with the exception of some incidentals which were taken care of quickly!!!
