A third-party recruiter, STAG – Strategic Talent Advisory Group, contacted me regarding a fractional advisory role with Meitu and indicated that I was pre-approved. The recruiter promised updates and answers to questions I submitted, but did not respond after the stated timeline, despite multiple follow-ups. The experience was disappointing and unprofessional, highlighting the risks of working through intermediaries and leaving the process disorganized and unclear.

Can you walk me through your background and how your experience applies to this role?
The process involves several stages: initial telephone communication to confirm details, followed by an interview with the +1 manager, then an interview with the department head, subsequently salary negotiations with HR, a background check, and finally the offer letter is issued.

Entrevista
self introduction first, after self-introduction and project/work experience, HR mentioned about P-value and hypothesis statistics, and two SQL problems. What's more, HR give an example of Meitu's product and its problem relevant to overseas service.
