Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. O processo levou 3 meses. Fui entrevistado pela Mews em dez. de 2023
Entrevista
The 3-round interviews with one home assignment.
The whole process took more than 3 months. Usually, after each step, recruiters ignored me for more than a week. A couple of times they rescheduled the next round, one time for two weeks ahead.
The first round was an initial 30-minute call, where we could get to know each other better and figure out which team could fit me best.
The next round was a 1-hour call with a hiring manager where I got a couple of general questions and could ask many questions about teams, company, engineering culture, etc.
After that, I got a test assignment with a deadline of 7 days to complete. The test assignments are public and you can find them in the MEWS GitHub repo. You need to put a lot of effort into impressing them, I think you need to do more that other candidates did.
The last round was a technical interview, where we discussed my home assignment with a senior developer and manager from the target team. I also got some technical questions about react, how to implement a server response memorization, etc. I didn't feel pressure, all questions were asked in a friendly manner and we had a good chat. All my questions were fully answered.
I got feedback the next day and we scheduled a 15-minute feedback session in a few days. The feedback wasn't pretty clear, but overall the chat was good.
I like the communication during calls, but ignoring me a month after a test assignment, long delays between rounds, and unclear feedback forced me to describe my experience as a negative one. I won't recommend to get an interview there.
