I was contacted by an MDG employee to be his potential replacement when he was promoted. I had 9 interviews over 7 months. It was all in secret. He kept telling me that the marketing team couldn’t find out about his promotion yet. I took another job because quite frankly this was a joke. Well in November he reached out again and asked me to actually come in and meet the team even though I wasn’t really looking anymore. I thought I would give it a shot in case I fell in love with the people. The interview went well with the two marketing team members. I sent a follow up message to the marketing director to thank him and the team. I never heard from anyone in the organization after that day. I can not believe how completely unprofessional this company is. To have 9 (I am not lying) interviews and never follow up is embarrassing. I would tell any other candidates to run.
