I had my first interview online. The questions he asked didn’t feel very thought out and raised some red flags in my mind. After that first interview, I was invited to attend an in person interview a few days after but was told I would need to wait for an exact date and time until the creative director returned from holiday. 2 weeks after I receive a date and time and am also told that I will need to perform a surprise task. I wish they would have let me know to expect this. The task read really clunky and disjointed, like someone verbalised it to another to type out on their behalf. The task itself wasn’t very thought out at all. I couldn’t tell if they just wanted me to come up with random ideas or demonstrate strategic thinking. I was also told in my first interview that the majority of the work I would be doing is for the club but with occasional cross over with their coworking space. It was bizarre to be asked to do a task that was purely about the coworking space when I was told I’d be focusing on the club. Either they didn’t inform the person interviewing me properly or they changed their mind at the last minute. Either way they seem disorganised. So I declined the second interview after reading some of the reviews here.
