A Mondo recruiter contacted me about a position after reviewing my resume. He was awesome! After being neglected by other recruiters I had spoken to, I was amazed by what a positive experience I had. Let me start with this person never left me wondering where I stood or when I would here from him next. He encouraged me to call with any questions and always seemed happy to talk to me. He called me to remind me of upcoming calls/meetings well in advance and he wanted to talk to me as soon as my interview was done. I know I sound like a dinosaur, but he had impeccable manners and treated me with the same respect he would want to be treated. And on top of that... he nailed it position wise. He found my resume in a database and saw the potential his client needed in an area which is really just becoming its own niche. I have not had this specific title before so most recruiters would have passed me by only because this recruiter read more than the first bullet under each job description was he savvy enough to realize that my credentials were a great fit. On top of this awesome recruiter, Mondo definitely takes extra steps to ensure success. The confirmation emails they send out at the various stages of the process include tips for success. They make sure you know everyone who will be at your interview and send you their LinkedIn page for research before the meeting. I believe Mondo is exclusively recruiting for this position, so they are going to make their money either way. They don't have to go above and beyond, but they understand that looking for a job (whether employed or unemployed) is hard... even harder with all the technology out there.
