The process was smooth and interviewers were friendly. It seems like they really encourage and support people to continuously grow and improve themselves. It was an easygoing interviewing environment. They are curious to know about the interviewee and they share their input and experiences. Overall, I had a good vibe and would love to see where NYU would take me in the future as well.

Was contacted for brief phone interview. PI was respectful during in person interview. Thoroughly explained the role. Asked standard interview questions, including what technical skills can you contribute to the laboratory?

Entrevista
I spoke with head of the Lab who would be my direct report. The interview went well, they asked thoughtful questions and answered all my questions. In the end, I decided it was not a good fit because of the pay and because I would need to relocate.

Mostly about past experience, and my resume. We discussed the way the lab works to clarify expectations and see if I was a fit.
I first contacted the HR (recruiter) and set up an interview. The interview was conducted online, and I had an interview with the hiring manager and two other members of the team.
