I interviewed for the position in Taiwan. In the first interview with the recruiter, he did explain the company, the interview process, and the questions I have clearly. I appreciated he spent an hour helping me get a sense of how everything works at Netskope. Following, each session with the team went pretty well, at least that was how I feel. Finally, after 6 rounds of interviews with the team, I have the initial offer discussion with the recruiter again. The talk was critical for me to understand if Netskope plans to grant me the offer since I had another offer from another company waiting for my decision. However, it sounds like the recruiter didn't communicate with the hiring team before talking to me. He mentioned to me that Netskope can match the offer with my other offer and that's promised. He showed me how the stock will calculate and all the benefits, and even tried to match with it. He mentioned he wasn't sure about my level yet so I thought everything was done deal just needed to check the whole package in detail. That's how I waited for Netskope for a week more, received the auto-rejection email, and nearly lost my other offer cuz the long interview and decision-making process. I still had a great impression of the team, however, the recruiting process certainly needed to be reviewed and improved. Interview process: 1. Screening call with the recruiter 2. Hiring manager call 3. Technical interview with UX manager 4. Portfolio review with the team 5. UX exercise 1 6. UX exercise 2 7. Hiring manager call 8. Offer discussion with the recruiter
