Shortly after applying, I was contacted by a recruiter for an HR phone screen. Next was a one-way video interview, and finally a Skype interview with a sales leader. Interview questions were mostly behavioral or regarding interest in a sales career. I had a pleasant interview experience and enjoyed each conversation, but after two weeks still hadn't heard back from the recruiter. I reached out twice via phone and email, but was met with no response. Four months later, a different recruiter emailed me asking if I was still interested in the position. I explained that I was still open to the role and expressed confusion as to why I never heard back from the initial recruiter after 3 interviews. Two weeks later, I have yet to hear back from the second recruiter. This recruitment team is highly unprofessional and the entire experience has been deplorable. I had higher expectations for a company of this caliber, and feel truly disrespected. I would not recommend applying to News America to anyone.

Had a short phone interview and then had a Skype interview with a manager in the office I wanted to work in. After the Skype interview I never heard back a single thing from anyone at News America. After the interview I sent thank you notes to both my interviewer and the woman who setup my interview. After not hearing back for a few weeks, I emailed both of the recruiters I had been in contact with and did not get a response. This Skype interview took place over four months ago and I still have not even received so much as an apology email. My experience with News America was extremely unprofessional and regrettable. Regardless of whether or not I was moving on to the next round of interviews, I would have expected to hear back from them at some point.
