Entrevista
After a short screening call with the Head of Talent I was given a 2 hour take-home exercise. Ostensibly this was a simple task, but it could have been tackled in many different ways.
This led to a 30 minute call with the Director of Engineering then 3 technical interviews of 90 minutes each, with 3 different engineers. These were like pair-programming with a quiet partner. There was no strong sense of pass/fail, more "show your working out". There was time for shoptalk and questions and answers too.
After this was a 2 hour call with the Director of Engineering again. This was a career retrospective and discussion of people skills and the like. Next was a call with a handful of other engineers, like a team call but undirected. The final interview was with the CEO.
That's a lot of steps, but they were all good experiences, not stressful or designed for failure. The interviewers were all friendly and represented the company in a good light; they all behaved like they wanted to be there.
