Interview with a panel including principal and teachers, perhaps others, then teach model lesson if chosen to. The model lesson is 30 minutes and could be any content of their choosing at the grade level you are applying for.

I had a connection, so my hiring process was different than others. I had a panel interview and a phone interview.Teachers that were hired starting the next year also taught a demonstration lesson to an actual class, while being observed by the panel. It is a very vigorous interview.

I don't remember specific questions, but I know the district is focusing on things like equity, backwards planning, use of technology, and engagement. Also PLC's and collaboration.
