It was not too long and they really just wanted to try to get to know you for who you are. They seemed like they were really interested in what you had to say and the most important part was that you had to effectively communicate that you were interested in what you were doing.

Asked questions regarding research experience, asked to discuss things apart from resume. Spoke particularly about experience with language in a social context. Discussed why I wanted the position and spoke about interest in sociolinguistics, experience with creating language, participating in spelling bees, taking sociolinguistic coursework. Experience with qualitative and quantitative research.
