I was contacted months ago by someone posing as a recruiter, who then continued to email, call, and even text at an alarming rate, bordering on harassment. After signing their standard "right to represent" documentation, I eventually spoke with another person who assured me I was a top candidate and then asked my availability to speak with the hiring manager. After several weeks of being ignored and pushed aside, I finally learned the job no longer exists.
