Hiring Manager (Head of Product) – One‑hour video call; again confirmed salary fit and skills match.
Panel (CTO, Head of Ops, Head of Product) – One‑week take‑home business case; panel praised my creative solution.
CEO On‑site – One‑hour conversation about motivations, career goals, and salary (third time expectations confirmed).
Follow‑up Alignment (Head of Product) – Two‑hour deep dive into onboarding plan and KPIs.
Final HR Call – Asked for salary figure a fourth time; told role needed board approval.
Outcome – After three “we’re waiting on news” emails, HR phoned to say I was the favorite candidate but lacked working‑capital experience—contradicting every prior conversation. No offer or feedback followed; subsequent emails were ignored.
What went well
Interviewers were polite and asked thoughtful product‑leadership questions.
Areas for improvement
Consistency: Salary range and experience requirements changed after six rounds and a week‑long assignment.
Communication: Two weeks of silence ended with a one‑minute rejection call citing a reason previously dismissed.
Time‑wasters: ~15 hours of unpaid prep plus travel, yet the process ended abruptly with a reason known from day one.
Candidate respect: No feedback, apology, or ballpark offer despite heavy time investment (≈15 hours prep + travel).
Advice to management
Clarify must‑have experience and salary bands before starting the process, and align all interviewers on those points. If priorities shift, inform candidates promptly and offer constructive feedback. Respecting people’s time preserves your employer brand.

Don't waste your precious time with this company. Definitely they don't value the time of the candidates.
I had arranged a phone call with the HR person two days before. So the day of the call I was waiting for a while when I decided to check my email in case they had contacted me. I had received an email a few minutes before, saying that they needed somebody with at least C1 English level. They didn't want to waste their time. They had had two days to let me know that, but they waited until the last moment. So I replied that email saying that they could check if my English level was good enough for themselves. I never received a reply to my email nor a phone call.
Shame of them!

Entrevista
Según la oferta que recibí, había un proceso de onboarding de una semana. En la entrevista pasaron a ser dos semanas. Pedían referencias una vez estuviera el proceso a punto de finalizar. Me parece perder el tiempo, y casi ninguna empresa hace eso. Preguntaron sobre que salario estaba cobrando actualmente en lugar de las expectativas salariales, lo que me parece muy mal síntoma. Me hicieron hacer una prueba del carrito de la compra, muy sencilla. Tardaron dos semanas en corregirla para decirme que no superaba la prueba, por haber hecho un código "demasiado sobrearquitecturizado" Un mes después me comunican que ese no era el problema. El problema era que había leido los datos de un fichero JSON, y lo que querían era otra cosa. Lo que hice es justo lo que ponía el documento de la prueba, y de hecho admitieron que ya les habia pasado con más gente. Me ofrecían continuar con el proceso y he rechazado.
