The process was smooth and fast-paced, very much in line with Octopus’ culture. It consisted of four steps: 1) A 30-minute initial interview with HR, 2) A 30-minute interview with the hiring manager,3)A 30-minute conversation with a senior leadership team (SLT) member, 4)A final 15-minute wrap-up with the hiring manager
The overall experience felt efficient, friendly, and well-structured.

The interview questions were designed to assess both mindset and adaptability, they focused on understanding how you’ve demonstrated success in previous roles, as well as how flexible and open you are to change in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.Expect some creative or curveball questions too. For example:If you could give a TED Talk, what topic would you choose?It’s a great idea to come prepared with answers that show your ability to think on your feet and bring energy and curiosity to the role.
