I first send uploaded my CV on the recruitment page of their website, then was promptly contacted by Mollie from Instant Impact to set up a phone call and discuss my application. After that, I had a Skype Interview with Mollie where we discussed my understanding of the role, my previous experiences, my knowledge of the company and my motivations for wanting to work there. Then, I did two aptitude tests (one numerical and one verbal reasoning tests) and then Mollie booked me for an online Discovery Day with lots of different people from Octopus Energy. During the Discovery Day, we did lots of fun activities designed to assess how we worked in a team - an icebreaker, a customer service task, a team research task, a Q&A, and an individual interview. Finally, I was contacted by Mollie the following day to set up a final informal interview with two members of OE working in the office I had applied to (Brighton), at the end of which I was offered the job! Mollie made this process SO easy and enjoyable, she is such a nice and caring person, and she gave me lots of tips and advice on how to impress them and what to research so that I could be really prepared when I finally met them. On the discovery day, having done all this preparation really helped to make me feel confident and show the best side of myself. I couldn't have done it without Mollie! Thanks again!
