I was contacted by the assistant nurse manager via email to set up a phone interview with her and the nurse manager. The interview was only 30 minutes or so and I only had to do a phone interview which was really nice. I didn't have any technical nursing questions, all the questions were behavior and experience based. The whole process from submitting my online application to getting a firm offer from HR took a month (beginning of Jan to beginning of Feb 2019). My start date was about two weeks after the date I received my firm offer. My case may be unique because the unit that hired me is expanding so the nurse manager is hiring a lot of nurses and training of all these nurses needs to get underway so that the unit is prepared for the new expansion. Overall, a very good and speedy hiring experience.
