All began with a brief call with a HR representative to discuss the position, Oura and my motivation in general. Second interview was with my supervisor-to-be to discuss deeper the role and expectations from both sides. Third interview was a panel interview with three of the future team members, that gave good introduction to the people I would be working on. Despite being in a panel interview with three people asking a lot of different questions, I did feel confortable and relaxed and that was mainly due to the nice atmosphere created by the interviewers. Fourth interview was a discussion with the supervisor of my future supervisor. Overall the interview process went really smoothly. I was kept well up-to-date on where they are in the reqruitment process and I had plenty of opportunities to present questions about Oura and the role. The self-scheduling tool made it really easy for me to book interview time slots that fit my calendar. Once receiving the job offer via email and accepting it, the onboarding process all the way to my first day at Oura was quite astonishing. I got access to the Oura HR system already few months prior to my starting date. I got to review some information about Oura and the organization from the system, as well as add relevant information about the employment. The IT contacted me well before my starting date to ask details of preferred equipment, which all were ready for me on my first day. Overall I have been very impressed by the interview and onboarding processes at Oura!

I had an HR phone screen last week and received an email today that they are moving forward with other candidates. But I wanted to say what a great overall experience it was. I submitted my resume, someone reached out a few days later and scheduled a call, they were on time and pleasant throughout the interview, kept me informed of potential next steps, and got back to me within a week to let me know that they would be moving forward with other candidates. I mean, as far as interviews goes, this was relatively painless and super transparent. They are clearly doing something right there.
