Interviewed for L5 role, which I think is mid-level. Overall, it's a pretty lengthy process and a pretty difficult one in my opinion, but not impossible. 1) Screening is done with Karat. It's one hour long with 20 to 30 minutes of system design trivia questions, followed by a leetcode style question. It's not hard. In my case it was a slightly more complex, disguised, two-sum. 2) Leetcode style (2 problems) - First one was Leetcode 560 and the remaining problem was not hard, but it was blank IDE without any method signatures or tests. It threw me off and I was coding blind after I verbalized the solution. 3) System design - this was the hardest round, but it completely depends on how well you understand system design in general. I was prompted to design a social media site. The question evolved into designing a notification system for the site and spanned into various system design concepts, including idempotency, scalability, caching, load balancers, regional load balancers, replication, and messaging queues. 4) Behavioral - don't remember the exact questions, but I recommend asking chatGPT for suggestions and thinking through how you would answer them. It will help. 5) Specialization - from what I understand this can be anything. In my case it ended up being 30 mins discussion about my experience and another medium leetcode question. I don't recall the exact details but think backtracking problems similar to leetcode 90 Subsets II. Each interview is about an hour long.
