I had an interview for two positions, Digital Analyst ( Analytics Implementation Specialist) and Adobe Analytics Tag Management Specialist. The questions centered around my experience using Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Adobe DTM, Launch, and Google Tag Manager. The interviewer requested a copy of my resume and my salary requirements. The interviewer thought it would be best to recommend me for the position using Adobe Analytics and DTM because it was harder to recruit candidates with those skills. I emailed the requested information in my thank you email. The interview replies later that day that they only wanted to pay $80,000. I was shocked because I researched the salaries on three different sites. Then the interviewer asked for work sample. I have never been asked for work samples before. I asked several of my colleagues to read the job descriptions and asked if the salary I requested was in line with the job descriptions. The general consensus is that both positions are developer positions labeled as specialist positions to justify paying the candidates a very low salary.
